The Situation
In early 2000, Stone Bond Technologies began development on its Enterprise Enabler – Laboratory Information Management System (EE-LIMS™), a comprehensive data management and workflow management solution to help biotech, pharmaceutical and clinical health care organizations automate paper based workflows and share essential information quickly and confidentially. As with any new, revolutionary product, EE-LIMS underwent several product iterations to become the award-winning solution that it is today.
Built on the ASP.NET framework, Stone Bond Technologies initially developed the customer facing user interface in-house although with requirements that included querying, viewing, validating and sharing massive amounts of data between researchers and clinicians internally and externally, the application’s performance hit a roadblock.

The Solution
After researching several UI development tool vendors, Stone Bond Technologies chose Infragistics as its UI development partner. With Infragistics comprehensive ASP.NET UI toolkit, Stone Bond Technologies gained the UI controls it needed at the time as well as advanced UI controls to grow with the product.

The Future
