General Description
We are seeking experienced Software Engineers in Test for our Java - JSF and Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX – Silverlight – WPF QA Teams in our Sofia, Bulgaria office.
Our QA teams develop automated test applications to assure new product quality, maintain existing products, and ensure high quality product localizations. The Infragistics QA team is a group of highly motivated, talented, software test engineers who are passionate about delivering the highest quality cutting-edge software components. All of our team members are experienced software test engineers who are accustomed to working in a high-paced, agile engineering team environment. Our candidate must be knowledgeable in software testing, software development (Java, .NET, JSF, AJAX, HTML and CSS) and test automation development.
Some of our requirements are:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of software testing experience with working knowledge of QA best practices, methodologies, and test automation best practices.
- 2+ years professional experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML/DHTML, SQL.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with short Software Development Life Cycles.
- General understanding of defect tracking/management processes.
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
- Working experience with test management and automation tools (HP Quality Center and QuickTest Professional is a plus).
- Experience with source code management systems and concepts (Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and Team Foundation Server is a plus).
- Experience using VMware virtual machines.
- Understanding of user interface best practices.
- Experience with testing and delivering of reusable software frameworks.
- Ability to meet deadlines and commitment to team goals.
- Clear English communication and writing skills.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Create and execute test plans.
- Create new test requirements and test cases.
- Design, develop and maintain test applications.
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute existing test cases as necessary (manual and automated).
- Isolate, reproduce and accurately report software defects and deficiencies.
- Verify fixed/newly implemented issues.
- Provide feedback and suggestions/input on products.
- Represent the customer's viewpoint for all our products.
