Software Engineer in Test I (ASP.Net) (Sofia, Bulgaria)

Description

The Software Engineer in Test is responsible for ensuring that Infragistics Inc. delivers high quality products. You will perform manual test runs, regression scenarios for UI components, and Install test cases. You will also be verifying bugs in new builds. The Software Engineer in Test collaborates with the rest of the product team to ensure that Risks are fully understood and highlight any product quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Product Testing & Maintenance
  • Verify fixed bugs and help solving customer issues
  • Execute regression and install tests (manual and automated)
  • Isolate, reproduce and accurately report software defects and deficiencies.
  • Run and maintain test applications.
  • Run and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Run existing test cases as necessary.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of QA practices, methodologies;
• Some experience in QE;
• Basic knowledge of C#;
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is more than welcome;
• Basic knowledge of .NET framework is a plus;
• Basic knowledge of ASP.NET framework is a plus;
• Some understanding of Object Oriented Programming;
• Fast-learning ability and communication skills;
• Ability to meet deadlines and commitment to the team goals;
• English verbal and writing skills (ability to understand and to be understood).
