Software Engineer in Test I (Windows Forms) (Sofia, Bulgaria)

Description

The Software Engineer in Test is responsible for ensuring that Infragistics Inc. delivers high quality products. You will perform manual test runs, regression scenarios for UI components, and Install test cases. You will also be verifying bugs in new builds. The Software Engineer in Test collaborates with the rest of the product team to ensure that Risks are fully understood and highlight any product quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Product Testing & Maintenance
  • Verify fixed bugs and help solving customer issues
  • Execute regression and install tests (manual and automated)
  • Isolate, reproduce and accurately report software defects and deficiencies.
  • Run and maintain test applications.
  • Run and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Run existing test cases as necessary.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts.
• Strong knowledge for Microsoft .Net Platform. Preferably Windows Forms
• 1-2 years professional programming experience with .NET, C#, VB.NET, VB Script.
• 0-2 years software testing experience with working knowledge of QA practices and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of the Visual Studio.NET IDE.
• General understanding of defect tracking processes.
• Experience with application coding and debugging.
