Description

The R&D Engineer will be expected to author and maintain unit tests regularly and continuously. You will also be expected to provide technical support in advanced cases where close examination of the product source code is necessary. Such cases will occur both on the public web forums and via email from other members of the Infragistics team. At Infragistics, support is given in the form of discussion and the exchange of sample code.

Responsibilities
|
- Develop new data visualization user interface components.
- Address bug reports in existing products.
- Author and maintain unit tests for all new code and for existing products.
- Answer posts in the Data Visualization sections of forums.infragistics.com.
- Answer questions from the support and sales departments, providing examples of how to develop applications using Infragistics Data Visualization software components.
- Participate in collaborative software design with the Infragistics Engineering Team.

Qualifications
|
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Excellent technical knowledge in Web Development (JavaScript, CSS, and HTML).
- Experience with Silverlight and WPF is an advantage.
- Experience with jQuery is an advantage.
- Experience with mobile application development is an advantage.
- Experience with developing object-oriented JavaScript user interface components is an advantage.
