Infragistics has a global presence and we're never too busy to reach out and engage with .NET developers at conferences, tradeshows and user groups the world over.  This autumn we have quite a European Tour lined up, so if you're attending these events please stop by to call on us.

Infragistics will open the tour off with a return to the Rheingoldhalle for BASTA! on 20-24 September in Mainz, Germany.  BASTA! always draws a great crowd of .NET developers and architects with its broad technical program (in German!)

Infragistics next travels to Bavaria for the Prio conference in Nürnberg, Germany on 19-20 October where Jason Beres, our vice president of product management, will be speaking.  If you have ever been unsure about how to create line of business applications using Microsoft's new Silverlight 4 platform, Jason's presentation will motivate you with key tips and techniques that you'll want to apply in your own applications.

Capitalizing on the trend towards greater parallelization, Infragistics will simultaneously be at Software Architect 2010 in London, England on 19-22 October.  There, our own Dr. Tobias Komischke will be speaking on the Human Factors behind UX design.  You'll be able to immediately apply this knowledge to creating more effective Web sites and Web applications.

Web 2.0 vs. Human 1.0
One reason why User Experience is gaining more and more momentum across industries is its rootedness in multiple disciplines that all contribute their own rich traditions and findings. Human Factors belong to the most intriguing and powerful of these disciplines.  Understanding human characteristics and applying this knowledge to the user interface design can greatly boost the User Experience.  In this talk, participants will learn fascinating facts about our human capabilities and limitations.  Based on this, concrete do's and don'ts of front-end design are explained.  The goal is to equip everyone with the concrete knowledge that they can directly apply in the design and evaluation of Web sites and Web applications.

When & where:  Thursday, 21 October at 14.00-15.30 in Track 5

Infragistics will be in Berlin, Germany, on 8-12 November for Microsoft TechEd Europe 2010.  Stay tuned for more information on this show, as it's one of the largest and most comprehensive having to do with Microsoft's suite of products, technologies, solutions and services.  You can count on our being present to help you solve your real-world challenges in UX design and user interface development.
