Hi Team,
I'm trying to install NetAdvantage NET 20073 CLR20 on Windows 2012 server.
I don't get any error during installation but when I try to open my web site that use Infragistic library I get an error as Infragistic was not installed.
Could you please help me?
Thanks a lot
Hi Luca,
Thank you for posting in Infragistics community !
Which version exactly are you trying to install ? It would be helpful if you provide this information along with some screenshot that will help us determine the nature of the issue. If I should be shooting in the dark my first suggestions would be to set CopyLocal = true for Infragistics assemblies or try to reinstall the product.
Hi Hristo,
I reinstalled the product, also in compatibility mode but I still get the error. CopyLocal = true is set.
Following the error when I try to reach the web page
[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an: instance of an object.] SafeFleetAPP.INFRAZIONI.Infrazioni1.WebGrid0_PreRender(Object sender, EventArgs e) System.Web.UI.Control.OnPreRender(EventArgs e) +8776854 System.Web.UI.WebControls.BaseDataList.OnPreRender(EventArgs e) +24 Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraWebGrid.OnPreRender(EventArgs e) +54 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +80 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +171 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +171 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +171 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +171 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +171 System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +171 System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +842

Hi,
Anywhere in the error stack trace it says that Infragistics is not installed. However it says the error is "Object reference not set to an: instance of an object". Do you handle the WebGrid0_PreRender event ? If so, please review the code inside and check if an object you are trying to access there is null.
It would be helpful if you could provide a working sample reproducing this error - I will be able to investigate it on my side and suggest accordingly.
we are moving our application from one application server to another. We are moving from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012. I get this error only when I try to reach web application located on Windows 2012 server with IIS 8. May be this product does not work fine on Windows 2012?
