We have an issue with ultradatetimeeditor since we moved to Win 7.
When user clicks on dropdown arrow and tries to pick today's date it doesn't work, the date doesn't get display in a text box. The work around it is to pick different day and then change it to today's date or right click on a calendar and use go to today's date. But it is very annoying.
Is there way to fix that issue?
Thank you.
Hi,
What version of the controls are you using? This sounds like an old bug that was fixed years ago.
I am having this same problem today Mar 01, 2013
I am using Infragistics2.Win.UltraWinEditors.v7.1.dll
What should I do?
Hello,
Have you already installed the service release as was suggested earlier in this thread?
Hello
We are on the verge of moving from XP to Win 7, and we too have this [Ultradatetimeeditor issue with today's date] problem.
We are on 2004 vol 2 , 3.2.200042.1111 , which I believe is the service release.
Short of the painful task of upgrading, is there any other solution?
Many thanks
Carlos.
Hi Carlos,
No, I'm afraid there is no way to work around this, as far as I know. It was a bug in the control and it's fixed. You will need to upgrade in order to correct it.
Hi Mike,
OK thanks very much. Of course, I'd question whether the bug is fixed :-p
However, at almost ten years old, the issue highlights the fact that we should have upgraded a loooong time ago.
Thank you. Carlos.

Not sure what you mean by that. You mean... because it's not fixed in a version of the controls that was released three years before the Operating system that changed the behavior and introduced the bug?
