Hi am using Infragistics 2010 licenced version, it is working perfectly in IE 7, when am trying to opent he same site in IE 9, site alignments are not in exact positions. and the controls are behavioring as not expetation.
for ex: am using WebSplitter, if i click on the splitter it is hiding left side window, again on clicking on the same splitter, it unhides the left window and right side window is dragging to right side instead of adjesting the right side window.
Please guide me what precaution i have to use to avoid this situations.
Hi vkmudigonda,
I have tested the scenario you have described with NetAdvantage 10.3 build 20103.2217 but I was not able to reproduce the issue. In order to be able to provide more insight I would need a small isolated sample, demonstrating the behavior and the exact version of NetAdvantage you are using.
If you have any other questions please let me know.
Hi Nikolay,
Thanks for your inputs, due to the company policy i can not share even simple code, am working with Splitter in my application, my application having Master page and in the child page am using Splitter control, and the functionlaity is like, having vertical splitter.
ISSUE is when i click the splitter bar, left pane is hiding, this is ok, but am trying to click ont he Splitter bar i.e. unhide the left pane, this time in IE 8 it is behaving as not expected i.e. right pane is not resizeing to previous state. and shows Horizontal scroll bar at the pagte level.
Am using Infragistics4 i.e. version 11
Thanks in advance.
VKmudigonda.
I tried the way you specified, still getting the same issue, not able to resize the window, here is the sample what i am using.
<ig:WebSplitter ID="splitter1" runat="server" Height="580px" Width="100%" DynamicResize="true" ResizeWithBrowser="true" >
<Panes>
...
</Template>
</ig:SplitterPane>
<ig:SplitterPane runat="server" ScrollBars="Hidden" MinSize="70%" MaxSize="98%" EnableRelativeLayout="true">
<Template> ... </Template>
</Panes>
</ig:WebSplitter>

The markup you have provided seems to be correct. I have tested it with IE 7, 8, 9 and Firefox 10, but I was not able to reproduce the issue. In order to be able to investigate this further, I would need a complete isolated sample, demonstrating the behavior you have described and the exact product version you are using.
Thank you.
Am using Infragistics Version=11.1.20111.1006, in my application.
Hello vkmudigonda,
Do you handle some events of the WebSplitter and what content do you have in the splitter panes? Is the issue only present in IE9? Any other relevant information would be of help.
Thanks
Am not using any events for Splitter, in the left pane am using UltrWebTree to show the list of customers, on clicking the customer am showing customer information in the right pane.
Like: calling another page in the right pane, the target page is designed in a way that it can adjust based on the avalable width, am using percentage in width instead of pixels.
Yes, this issue is facing in IE 9 only. in IE 7 & IE 8 it is working as expected.
Thanks,
In this case I would suggest that you upgrade NetAdvantage to the latest service release and see if the issue is still present there.
I downloaded the Service Release 2 for NetAdvantage, but in the "AspNET_EN_FixedBugs_SR112_01.pdf" file, no where mentioned the IE 9 compatible issues with WebSplitter, can you please confirm us that "Service Release 2 for NetAdvantage" is the latest Service.
You can find the latest service release for your product in our website. Go to My IG - My Keys & Downloads and click on your product's name. Scroll down to see the service releases list.
Hi Nikoly,
After installing to Service Release 2, and i upgrade my application to Version 11.2 from 11.1, after migrated i am facing lot of issues like.
Unknown server tag 'igtxt:WebTextEdit'. and when i fix it is saying that ambiguity between "Infragistics4.Web.v11.2" and "Infragistics4.Web.v11.1"
Can you please provide your inouts.
thanks
I would suggest that you try the Version Upgrade Utility to upgrade your project - http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/ASPNET/2011.2/CLR4.0/?page=Web_Using_Version_Upgrade_Utility.html. Another solution would be to manually update the references to the assemblies you use and make sure there are no references to the older version anywhere in your project.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the update process.
