I am trying to setup VB project on Windows 7 (64 bit) machine which was earlier working on Windows XP. But i am facing problem with threed32.ocx which is not getting registered and because of this the VB forms are not opening.
I saw forum (16 Bit Installer for Designer Widgets in Win 7 64bit) about ActiveThreed controls, still used in some of our legacy VB6 applications. Is it same issue. I read that after installer was ran, the problem got resolved. Can you share the details please?
Please help me out to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

You could try to regiter the controls yourself. There are few forum threads about those retaired controls, and what could be done in order to run them under Windows 7 64bits system at the following links below:
