I am new to silverlight and infragistics.
I have created a line chart using infragistics silverlight XamDataChart control.
But i need to plot the control limits(UCL,LCL,Avg) lines in that chart.

Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I can suggest using Custom Axis Tickmarks functionality. I have created a sample application for you that demonstrates how you can implement the appearance that you have described, by using custom tickmarks.
