I am trying to automation an application developed using .NET Framework 4.5
I have installed .NET Framework 4.5 in my PC also i have installed UFT 11.53v (Supporting 4.5 Framework)
I was not able to identify certain components (UltraWinListBar, Expand rows in FlexiGrid) in the Application so i installed latest version Infragistics Test Automation for QTP.
I tried using both the version i.e 13.2CLR4.0 and 13.2VersionFree options of the Infragistics Test Automation settings and i am still not able to identify the mentioned Components in Application.
Please help me on this and let me know if it is Test Automation Tool v 13.2 is Compatible with UFT 11.53 which i have installed.

1. What is your OS (Win 7/8, XP ....)
2. Are you using (x64) or (x32) bits machine ?
3. Do you have any installed service pack for your OS and which exactly
4. What is your assembly version of NetAdvantage (the version of Infragistics assemblies that you are using into your application)
5. Are you able to record and replay correct scripts using our default samples that you received with installation of TestAdvantage ?
6. What kind of control is FlexiGrid. Is it our UltraGrid control?

Below are the answers to your Questions
1. I am using this on a Windows 7 setup.
2. It is an x64 bit OS
3. Yes Windows 7 OS is with Service Pack 1.
4. Infragistic Version used in the application is InfragisticsVol3.0
5. I was not able to locate the sample scripts as given in help files.
6. The Grid is an ComponentOne Grid version used is ComponentOne Studio Enterprise 2.0
Please find an attachment describing about the challenges we are facing in details.

I have few additional questions about:
Point 4 - Please take a look on Infragistics assemblies. The version should be something like 13.1.20131.2089. Please check again and inform us.
Point 5 - You could find the default samples on: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Infragistics\2013.2\WinForms Test Automation (HP)\Samples\CLR4.0\Bin
Point 6 - Please note that one of advantages of TestAdvantage is to allow QA teams to automate testing of their user interface with Infragistics control by extending HP Unified Functional Testing software . I`m not sure what is your expectation and final goals in scenario where you are using ComponentOne`s grid ?

Thank you very much for the details. Looking at the provided information, I see that your Application Under Test - AUT is build with Infragistics assemblies version 8.2. It means that your TestAdvantage should be also version 8.2 instead of version 13.2. Please note that your assemblies 8.2 are build against .NetFramework 2.0, meanwhile your TestAdvantage (version 13.2) is build for .NetFramework 4.0. More details about different environments you could find on http://www.infragistics.com/help/supported-environments/
You have few possible options: You could upgrade your AUT to version 13.2. Another possible approach could be if you are using TA 8.2 with QTP11.0.

I will try TA8.2 with UFT 11.5, Coz that is the setup we have. Do you think that will work?
