Hi there,
I wanted to use your Ignite UI Data Charts for a responsive web application.
Sadly I discovered that on the data charts, the page scrolling is disabled. Since on a mobile device, there is not a lot space left next to the chart. I wanted to ask if and how this could be done?
Regards
Benjamin
Hi Ben,
I will be looking into this matter for you. I will follow-up with you here on the thread by or before Monday with an update.
H Ben,
I am continuing to look into this for you. In the interim, can you provide a screen image to show visually what you are needing to address?
Thanks!
how's the status on this subject?
By tomorrow we want to start with a first implementation, but if this is not supported, we have to look on another chart library.
Could you please update us on this?
Benj
Hi Benj,
I am doing some testing of this issue and will follow-up with this afternoon with an update.
I will need to do some further testing of this matter. I will follow-up with you here on the thread once I have that completed.
From my testing, I do see that it is possible to touch and scroll the page, if the touch/scroll occurs in the area off the chart. If, the desired interaction is to scroll by touching inside the chart/canvas area, this may be possible, but for this to be possible, we need to first disable all 'interactions' with the chart, such as zooming, etc.
Based on this, would your choice be to scroll by touching inside the chart area, with all other response to interactions disabled? Or, to scroll by touching outside the chart area?
Hi Troy,
the problem was that there is not much space left next to the chart to scroll properly.
But we've found now a working library, but thanks for your research anyway
