Does the XamDataGrid have a "Delay" property to such that, a delay can be set, before the notifychangeproperty handler gets triggered??
Kindly let me know.
Thanks,Sudeepti Balepur
Hello Sudeepti,
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I can say that the XamDataGrid doesn't have such Property, but in .NET Framework 4.5 there is a Delay Property in the BindingBase class, which you can use. Here you can read more about it:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.data.bindingbase.delay(v=vs.110).aspx
Please let me know if you have further questions on this matter.
Looking forward for your reply.
Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your response. Yes I did see .NET 4.5 has this property and I want to use it in my project. How could I do so with the XamDatagrid's Cell edit property??
I have not been successful in implementing the same and hence the question.
Like I mentioned in my first post, I want to put in a delay to prevent the notify change property handler from being fired constantly - basically like a performance improvement on the UI side ( to prevent it from slowing down.. )
Thanks,
Sue
Hello Sue,
I am just checking if you need any further assistance on the matter.
Thanks for your help and also for taking it as an idea to be implemented for your grids..
Currently, I havent yet found a way to achieve what I am looking for. In case there are any workarounds out there, please let me know.
Thanks,Sue
