I have an application using Infragistics controls of version 2009. Now we want to automate that application using VSTF 2013 Coded UI Test, But some of the infragistics controls in our application are not identifying.
Can you please let me know it is possible to automate using VSTF 2014 Coded UI test? If so, what should I do?

Infragistics CoddeUI Automation support was introduced with the release of Infragistics 12.2 http://help.infragistics.com/doc/WinForms/2014.2/CLR4.0/?page=Whats_New_in_2012_Volume_2.html
it must comply with the version of Infragistics components, i.e. for Infragistics 13.2 you should use Infragistics4.Win.CodedUITest.UIA.VS11.v13.2 (I want to highlight that for Visual Studio 13 you should install latest service release of Infragistics 13.2).
about VSTF 2013 Codded UI Test, it seems that this is a plugin for Silverlight applications https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/51b4a94a-1878-4dcc-81e0-7dc92131d2da and I ma not sure how this is related with WindowsForms components.

When I have tried to download Infragistcis 13.2 version, it got downloaded infragistics 14.2 version (from the location: http://www.infragistics.com/products/windows-forms#Downloads)
and I see Infragistics4.Win.CodedUITest.UIA.VS12.v143.2 dll got added in the VSTF 2013 references.
my application is made of infragictics controls of 2009 version, so I am trying to automate regression test cases using CodedUI test of version 2013. I am getting a problem in identifying some of the labels in my application. CodedUITest is identifying Label control at the time of recording but when I repeat the same script with different test data, Coded UI is throwing an object not found exception. Coded UI is not identifying the earlier recorded control. Like this, I have some controls in my application which are not recognizing during my test run.
Please let me know if you need any further details about our application controls specifically in order to nail down the problem.
You could download platform installer for Infragistics 13.2 (it includes extension for CoddedUI Automation Test) from your account, and to install the extension. So once you are sure that version of the Infragistics extension for CoddedUI Automation Test is the same as the version of Infragistics assemblies used for the application under test, please verify that you are able to record and replay test.

Our development team is upgrading thier Infragistics controls from 2009 to 2014 version. Once it is done(in 3 weeks from now), I will try Coded UI automation using 2014 assemblies. Let you know the update in the same email thread. thanks.
