I want to enable filtering for just one single column.
I've seen that there is a a columnSettings property that you can use to disable filtering for a single column. I do not want to do that though because I have to then manually disable every column for filtering except one. Is it possible to enable filtering for just one column?

You should specify which column you want no to be filtered in the columnSettings of the filtering feature. Please refer to the following => http://help.infragistics.com/jQuery/2014.2/ui.iggridfiltering#options:columnSettings.allowFiltering.

As I mentioned, I realize that I can disable a column on an individual level using the columnSettings property but that is what I would like to avoid.
It seems that enabling filtering for 10 columns and then disabling for 9 of them is not an the most efficient or clean way to handle it. That's why I was hoping there is a way to essentially reverse the process. Disable filtering for all columns but just enable it for one. Any ideas?
