I have a question. I'm trying to create a pivot grid with supercompactlayout, but this wont work for me. Do I forgot something?
Roman
Hi Roman,
The only property you need to set is AllowSuperCompactLayout which you have already done. From your screenshot though it does look like it's working properly in the grid. Have you seen the differences between the default layout, compact layout and super compact layout? I have attached a sample that includes all three layouts in three different XamPivotGrid controls so you can see the difference between these modes at once.
Do you still require assistance on this matter?
Its funny. The solution is to set CompactLayout/SuperCompactLoyout after the FORM has been loaded, programmatically.
public MainUC() { InitializeComponent(); this.Loaded += (o, a) => { this.PivotGrid.AllowCompactLayout = true; }; }
Any other solution do not work. Cannot set the compact or supercompact layout in XAML.
That's really weird. If you run my sample you should see that the compact layout is enabled after having been set from XAML. Not really sure why you are seeing that behavior. Would you happen to have a sample you can send me that reproduces this behavior?
My College change the Infragistics version to 14.1. Seems that this version accepts XAML AllowCompactLayout and AllowSuperCompactLayout. The CompactLayout is enough for me right now! Thanks. I suggest to close this topic!
