Thank you for your post. I have been looking into your question and you could look into the Custom Export Cell Styling sample in our Samples Browser(xamDataGrid -> Styles) in order to see how to apply style settings when exporting the XamDataGrid to Excel.

I revised all the sample code that you suggested but I couldn't find solutions to my problems. All the sample code applies the style to all the rows of a column. The style selector gives you the freedom to apply different style to each row of a column based on the cell content.
Also I couldn't find a sample that applies row background and alternative row background at the excel exported spreadsheet.
Is there a way to add this styles?
I am attaching a sample application(DataGridExportToExcelStylesColumns.zip) that shows how to export the XamDataGrid with the background of the records. You can see all the properties that you can see all the properties related to the formatting in e.FormatSetting in the RecordExporting event.
Thanks a lot. The sample work perfect. But I have two other questions regarding Excel export.
As you can see in the attached sample project, I have a XamDataGrid with UnboundFields fields. The column span of the UnboundFields is greater than 1. As you can see when you export the grid only the first cell of the two merged cells have border.

Regarding the issue with the border style I have submitted this behavior in our tracking system, with an issue ID of 194203. I have also created a support ticket on your behalf with number CAS-155574-R0K5M6 in order to link the development issue to it so that you are automatically updated when a Service Release containing your fix is available for download.
Please in future create a new thread for each of your new questions.
We have shipped out a new service release where your issue is resolved. I'd be glad to find out if you had tested it out and if it had met your requirements.
