The grid.FilteringSettings.RowFiltersCollection normally contains the cell filters. But if I group one column the filters are performed per "band". Where do I find the filters for each grouped band?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by saying "filters are performed per "band"". Are you referring to the grid.FilteringSetting.FilterScope ?
Could you please share more details on the scenario you're trying to achieve and/or current configuration of xamGrid control?
