Help with igCombo.multiSelection, adding value not in checked list
posted

We are using  igCombo with multiSelection = true/checkbox to create controls that urge people to select from the list, but we would like them to be able to add items that do not appears in the checkbox list.  Does this control (or any other ig* control) support this behavior?

    Hello Brad,
Thank you for posting in our forums!
After investigating adding items that do not appears in the checkbox list using igCombo  and doing some research, adding items in the igCombo has been determined to be a new product idea. You can suggest new product ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at <http://ideas.infragistics.com>.
Submitting your idea will allow you to communicate directly with our product management team, track the progress of your idea at any time, see how many votes it got, read comments from other developers in the community, and see if someone from the product team has additional questions for you.
Remember when submitting your idea to explain the context in which a feature would be used and why it is needed as well as anything that would prevent you from accomplishing this today. You can even add screenshots to build a stronger case. Remember that for your suggestion to be successful, you need other members of the community to vote for it.  You can also link back to this thread for additional details.
    Steps to create your idea:

    1.       Log into the Infragistics Product Idea site at http://ideas.infragistics.com (creating a new login if needed).
    2.       Navigate to the product / platform channel of your choice (e.g. WPF, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, HTML5 / Ignite UI, iOS / NucliOS, etc.)
    3.       Add your product idea and be sure to be specific and provide as much detail as possible.
Thank you in advance to submitting your product idea.
