Hi,
i have a web datagrid on my page and i am having problems with the culture settings.
I set the culture info of the current thread on the page load event and everything works fine as soon I do something on the table like sorting or moving a column these settings ares reset to the default culture of the system.
Is there any way to set culture directly on the grid? or at least something that makes the webdatagrid to keep the culture info set on page load event.
Thanks a lot
Hello grifoxx,
Is the culture of the WebDataGrid supposed to match the culture of the page? If so, you can set the culture of the web site in the web.config file. Please refer to this Microsoft article for more information.
If this does not solve the problem, please let me know. I can forward your post to Developer Support.

thanks for your reply.
In my case I set the culture as soon as the user is logged in, which means the these setting are stores in the database. I also tried what Alex Kartavov suggested on this post : http://blogs.infragistics.com/forums/p/33003/181183.aspx, but it did not work.
Thanks again
Hello,
I have forwarded your forum post to Developer Support. They should be able to assist you in finding a solution.
Please let me know what version / build of NetAdvantage you are using. This can be found in the register tag of your page or in the assembly reference of the web.config. For example: Version=10.3.20103.2046.
Thanks,
Valerie
Was this issue ever solved?
I think the problem is to do with an in-built Javascript function to format the data when a fields value is changed.I have the culture set as en-gb in my globalization tag for both the culture and uicultures, I also have my WebDataGrid bound to a DataTable with it's Local property set to en-gb.Whenever I type a date (24/05/1985) the field snaps back to US date format (05/24/1985) when I tab out.
