Hi,
I want to do the localization for the filter options in WebDataGrid.I found the document with the step by step instructions to change the file WebDataGridStrings.resx
But in Version 10.3 the strings are in the file WebDataGridStrings_runtime.resx.
I tried to do the same with this file, but no luck.
Have someone any ideas whats wrong?
Thanks.
Jürgen
Hello Jürgen,
The steps in the document should still be correct for WebDataGridStrings_runtime.resx.
Did you change your internet browser's language settings and start a new session? The language that you want to appear has to be at the top of the languages list.
If the translations still do not appear, Developer Support can help you with this issue. I'm including the link to the original document for reference.

Hello Elizabeth,
I found a solution. I had to rename the file from WebDataGridStrings_runtime.resx to WebDataGridStrings.resx and then follow the steps in the document.
Then I saw the german strings in Browser.I first have also the problem with the internet browser's language settings, but at the end it works.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Elizabeth,
I have again a problem with the localization. On my Developer machine all is ok, but when I try to deploy the solution to the server from my customer I get the Error Strong name signature could not be verified. How can I sign the Resources.dll? Please Help.
In this forum post, the author of the document suggests 2 solutions for this:
1. Build the .dll on the server.
2. Install the satellite assembly into the GAC.
The assembly is tied to the machine it was built on, so if you built it on your development machine, it won't work on the server. I would suggest trying to build the assembly on the server.
we want to localize the filter strings in v11.1. We followed the description http://blogs.infragistics.com/forums/p/24594/90382.aspx - but with no success.
Regardless which language we activate in Internet Explorer (“de-DE”, “ja”), only the english strings are shown.
Our current used DLL-Version is v11.1.20111.2020 the Ressource-File is v11.1 2116. Could this cause the problem?
Thx
Dominik
