Actually What I am looking for is .
How can I add a button to column cell. I dont want button style cell.
But a real button with all the activities I can do with it.
Thanks in Advance
Hi,
Okay, it sounds like you want a button and text in the same cell. The easiest way to do this is to set the Style of the column to EditButton. Then you handle the CellButtonClick event of the grid to trap the button click.
To apply an image to the button, you would use the CellButtonAppearance.Image property.
No I want a Button in some cells of a Column and dont want button in other columns.
The requirement is I want to launch a Dialog from the Button.
Okay. In that case you need to use an editor. What you do is place an UltraTextEditor on the form and use the ButtonsRight collection to add an EditorButton. Then you use the InitializeRow event of the grid and set the EditorControl property of the cell to the UltraTextEditor control for those cells where you want the button.
To track when the user clicks on the button, use the EditorButtonClick event of the UltraTextEditor. The e.Context param will pass in the cell that was clicked.
I want to have an Image button column in Ultra Win Grid. Currently am using the Coulmn Style for the column as Button and setting the image for the column using the property CellAppearance.Image. This works fine with the display but when I do a roll over the column, a button is making the image in the column hidden. The click event for the column works fine though. Could you please help on this? The image button should look as it is even after making a roll over and clicking it.
You will need to set the ButtonAppearance.Image, as well.
