Hi,
I have one strange question. My web site is used WebDataMenu as navigation bar. It works fine in my localhost, but when it put to Server IIS7, it works wrong, the subListItem is not showed.
In localHost, I add <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE8" /> for compatible.
If I change this code to <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />, the WebDataMenu subItem is showed, but the webDropDown, webDatePicker's css is wrong.
May I know how the compatible of WebDataMenu ?
I found the reason, but i don't know how to fixed it.
The reason is test IE'version is IE11, and document mode is IE8, when page load, WebDataMenu become to HTML, it is added the CSS (height:35px; position:reletive). so the sub item is not display.
But, how can i do it ?
Hello Xavier,
I have just tested this scenario using the standard online samples of WebDataMenu but am so far unable to reproduce the described behavior when the document mode is forced to EI8. Please note however that the AIKIDO controls do not support document mode combinations of the type IE8 + IE11 browser mode. Only same document and browser mode combinations are supported, with the exception of compatibility modes - IE7 document mode + IE compat browser mode.
If you can provide me with a small isolated sample illustrating the behavior, I would be happy to look into this matter further in order to provide more feedback.
