How to sort all rows by a specific column, whenever grouping is done.
Example: I have three columns like Exam_Name, MarksInEnglish, MarksInMaths.
Allow grouping only by Exam_Name and whenever grouping is done. Then automatically sort the rows inside the group by MarksInEnglish and MarksInMaths.

Both grouping and sorting may be applied programmatically in UltraWebGrid using something similar to:
UltraWebGrid1.Columns.FromKey("CategoryID").IsGroupByColumn = true; UltraWebGrid1.Columns.FromKey("ProductName").SortIndicator = Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.SortIndicator.Descending; UltraWebGrid1.Bands[0].SortedColumns.Add(UltraWebGrid1.Columns.FromKey("ProductName"), true);

Please note that UltraWebGrid has been retired and as of version 11.2 is no longer included in our product toolset. I would therefore suggest considering upgrading to the WebDataGrid or WHDG. A detailed list of the retired controls and their respective replacements may be found at:

Regardless of whether grouping is applied in UWG, the selected rows can be accessed through the display layout as such:
uwg.DisplayLayout.SelectedRows

ugv.DisplayLayout.Rows Property is not return all rows, It provides only the Top node rows only. But I want all rows inside the grid. Could you please tell me, how do I get this?
