I'm just wondering if there is anyway of getting the key of the method get_previousNode();. I'm able to get the key for the get_destNode(); I'm just asking is there a similar solution to get_previousNode();?

Thank you for contacting us.
Both get_previousNode() and get_destNode() have the get_key() function. This function is using to get the key of the NavItem. If you want to set a key, you can use the set_key() function.

The get_key() function isn't working for my get_previousNode() . It just gives me the destination node and breaks when it's null.
In order to get some key it must be set first. I guess your node have only text and value specified. Also as I have said to you in my previous reply get_previousNode() will return the previous sibling node, so if is the first node in the collection, then it will return null.
