Hello!
I downloaded the ICONS package and startet the installation of the separate packages.
1) When selecting the ICONS package in my account, the tooltip is displayed with the information that the package has 2.00 GB. Although the download has 7.5 GB.
2) After unpacking the downloaded ZIP File I recognized that the "manufacturing" archive had the name "NetAdvantageICONS_Manufacturing_XAMLIcons.zip". All other XAML packages are named "NetAdvantage_ICONS*".
3) After installing the "NetAdvantage_ICONS_Manufacturing.exe" I had a non functioning link for "Web and Commerce" in my start menu but not for the manufacturing - web and commerce was installed afterwards. The rest of the installation was successful but I had to create the link to the manufacturing by myself.
Bye
Hello grubarec,
1.) I've notified our web team about this.
3.) I'm a bit confused by which order you installed these in, in order to break the link for "Web and Commerce". The way you have described it was as if installing the NetAdvantage_ICONS_Manufacturing.exe caused the issue but you said you installed "Web and Commerce" afterwards which means "Web and Commerce" was not installed at the time Manufacturing was installed. Can you walk me through what you installed step by step to produce the broken link?
Hello Rob!
3) I installed the manufacturing package which created the non functioning "Web and commerce" link in the start menu. A link for "manufacturing" was not created.Afterwards I installed the "web and commerce" package which overwrote the link in the start menu.
It look as if the manufacturing package installer was built on top of the "Web and commerce" package but the links in the start menu have not been changed.
I was able to reproduce what you are seeing with the installer available from the Account page. I've asked our engineering staff to examine this further. To ensure that it will receive attention, I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a Development ID of 171278. The next step will be for a developer to review my investigation and confirm my findings or to offer a fix, or other resolution.
I created a private case for you so that I can link the development issue to it (CAS-136410-D5X5X8). This will allow you to view the status of the development issue connected to the case by selecting the "Development Issues" tab when viewing the case on the web site.
You can view the case here: https://www.infragistics.com/my-account/support-activity
Thanks for creating that case.
