We use another component to produce images of barcodes and then add those barcodes to the report. Approximately 25% of the time the barcode images show up as black rectangles instead. The barcodes which decide to display black rectangles changes every time the document is generated. I am saving the images to disk both before and after the code and there is nothing wrong with the images.
We have tried 4 methods, all with the same results. AddImage, AddQuickImage, ICanvas.DrawImage, and Graphics.DrawImage.
Any insight into what I am doing incorrectly or of any known issues causing this would be appreciated.

Can you verify that the image that you are adding to the report is not disposed and it is completed down during the export. Is it possible to post simple sample that demonstrates this issue and I will be able to run and investigate on my machine.

Sorry, I had forgotten about this post.
I did figure out how to get the barcodes to display every time. The problem did not turn out to be garbage collection, it appears to be either an issue with the Infragistics.Documents.Reports.Report and bmp images (default image format) or with bmp images themselves. I eliminated the problem by supplying an image with png encoding.
