I am using WebDataGrid , Version 2014.1 CLR4.0
In my webform, there is a webdatagrid like the screen shot below.
when i click the cell user name "Super Admin" of first row , some functionality has to be done.
Likewise cell click needs to be handled for the column "User Name".
Kindly guide me to achieve this.
Thanks.
Hello Thangachan,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics!
To have a click event for the cell and the header I recommend you handle the client side Click event of the grid. This event has a get_type() off the event args that tells you if the element clicked as a cell, row, header, or footer. You can see more information about this at the following links:

Hi,
recently i'm working hard with Infragistics asp.net controls, I want to know if i click a cell in a webdatagrid, is there any way to fire a postback?
thx a lot
Hello Shi,
If you enable the Activation behavior and set the auto postback flags for active cell changed to true it will postback on changing of cell to active. One of the ways to do this is click on a cell:
<ig:Activation> <AutoPostBackFlags ActiveCellChanged="true" </ig:Activation>
