Hi I have created one example which works ok when i set AutoGenrateFields to true , but if i make it false it does not work , I am attaching my sample project could you please look into it and tell me where i am going wrong. I tried it a lot but was not able to find the solution.

Thank you for your post.
I have been looking into the sample application that you have provided. It seem that to define a hierarchical field layouts in the xaml, you need to define the nested data as a field in the parent layout.
For example in your case you should adding:
<igDP:FieldLayout Key="Products">
<igDP:FieldLayout.Fields>
<igDP:Field AllowEdit="False" Name="ProductID" />
<igDP:Field AllowEdit="False" Name="Name" />
<igDP:Field Name="ChildProducts" />
<igDP:Field Name="ItemsIgnored" />
<igDP:Field Name="ItemsChanged" />
</igDP:FieldLayout.Fields>
to the parent FieldLayout. Please let me know if I missing something from your scenario.
