Hello,
I have 3 tabs(using XamTabControl) each one has a syntax editor when i click on the tab sometimes i am getting the bellow error

I have been looking into your issue. I created a sample application based on your scenario and I could not managed to reproduce the behavior that you have described. If you are not able to reproduce the issue with the attached sample application, would you please modify it with the functionality, that you are using, so it reproduces the issue. I figured that out
i have to access the editor as follow
editor.Document.CurrentSnapshot.GetText();
instead of
editor.ActiveDocumentView.CurrentSnapshot.GetText();
editor.ActiveDocumentView is null if the editor host window is not active
