Hi,
I have the following problem. I have a XamTreeView control and a XamDockManager control and I want to make a Drag&Drop operation, like if the user drags a node, when reach the dock control with the drag template, automatically to show the dock indicator for the new control, where the user can put the new content pane.
I can make the drag&drop but I can not raise the PaneDragStartingEvent,and I don't get any solution how to change the visibility for the indicator.
Do you have any solution for that?

I am currently researching this issue for you. I will get to you with my findings soon.
I have been firther researching this issue for you and have created a small sample application for you. In the sample application I use the XamDockManager as a DropTarget. Then on the drop event of the DragDrop manager I create e new ContentPane, add the node, that is being dragged as Content for the pane. Then I add the ContentPane to a SplitPane. Once the ContentPane is added I add the SplitPane to the XamDockManager.

I have verified your sample and I have create this behavior to, but what I want is that when with the dragged object arrive to the xamDockmanager control, automatically to show the dockmanager dock indicator, help the user where can he put the contentpane.
After working on the functionality that you are trying to achieve and doing some research, the ability to show the xamDockManagers dock indicator while dragging an item from a XamDataTree has been determined to be a new product idea.
