on a column with xamcomboeditor, the sort and filter occur on the valuepath instead of displaymemberpath. am i missing a flag? i need it to sort and filter with the values the user sees.

It has been a while since you have made your post, in case you still need support I will be glad to assist you further. I suppose the other community members can benefit from this answer as well. So I have been looking through your post and I suggest set the DisplayMemberPath and ValuePath to the same Properties in order to achieve your scenario, because the sorting and filtering in XamDataGrid is made by the Value property of the Editor of the Field.

Although that would allow it to sort and filter, it would require that we change the bound objects to hold display data instead of identification data.
I have coded custom sort and filter routines to satisfy my needs. However, I think sort and filter should happen on the display field in a future release.
