I am trying to automate a winforms application with UFT 11.5 which is developed using .Net (v4.0) language C# along with Dev Express Pivot Grid (v12.0) and Infragistics UltraWinGrid (v13.1).
Can you please help us to understand whether UFT 11.5 will be able to automate this application, if Yes then what are the pre requisites to automate this application ?
If you can provide us this information then it will create a great business opportunity with HP.

You will want to use Infragistics Test Automation (formerly TestAdvantage) to do automated testing with UFT 11.5. You can see more details about the Test Automation product here. Please note that the version of Test Automation must match the volume of the Infragistics controls used so you will need TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) 2013 Volume 1 which can be downloaded from the archived downloads page.

We already downloaded the mentioned file to make it compatible with UFT 11.5 but it does not seems to work.

The requirement for UFT 11.5 for Infragistics 13.2 for Windows Forms are:
- Requires HP .NET Add-In. - Requires a minimum of HP Unified Functional Testing 11.51 Service Pack (UFT_00001)
So please verify that your environment meets those prerequisites. Also have you tried to record test against our samples, what the results are, are you able to replay the recorder test, what script was generated ?

We already setup the following environment but unfortunately all the objects of the application is identified as "WinObject".
Please help us to understand what we are missing so that we can work together to make it work.

Please answer to all of the above questions, the answers are important to narrow the root of the issue:
1. I could not find any sample application under the CLR 4.0 folder.
2. Same as point 1.
3. Could you please specify the path where I can find SwfConfig.xml?
Infragistics TA samples and script are installed by default, and installer do not provide you an option to skip installation of the samples, so if they are missing on that machine then maybe someone have deleted them or the product was not installed properly (or it was not installed at all ). So please reinstall Infragistics TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 13.2 again and try to record and replay test against our samples and try to execute some of the our scripts. About SwfConfig.xml it should be under: C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Unified Functional Testing\dat\SwfConfig.xml
