WebHierarchicalDataGrid™ has no trouble handling master-detail (also sometimes referred to as parent-child) data relationships, and presenting this data to users in a convenient and easily used expandable user interface.

WebHierarchicalDataGrid™ leaves no child band behind. Each parent record can have multiple parent-child relationships to different kinds of child data, and each of these different kinds of child data can reside as a different child band that can be expanded from the parent row.

WebHierarchicalDataGrid™ allows your data to refer back onto itself. One of the canonical examples of self-referencing data is an otherwise flat employees data table in which some employees have a supervisory relationship to other employees.
