Instant Messenger Notification

One Style property setting gives you a desktop alert window that simulates Windows® Live Messenger's message received notification window, and then you can supplement it with your own caption, text, images, alert buttons, etc.

New Mail Alert

With one Style property setting your desktop alert window can mimic the appearance and behavior of the popular Outlook® New Mail desktop alerts, although you still have complete freedom to customize with your own caption, text, images, alert buttons, etc.

Show or Hide the Close Button

A small 'x' button in the top right corner of the desktop alert window is visible by default, but can be hidden.  Users click this 'x' button to dismiss their notification early.  If it is hidden or the user does not click to dismiss, then the desktop alert window will vanish after an auto-close interval you can set.

Show or Hide the Drop Down Button

An optional drop down arrow button in the top right corner that is hidden by default allows users to display additional commands related to your application, if you have any.

Show or Hide the Pin Button

Give your users the option of pinning up desktop alert windows they wish to keep persistent on their Desktop for a time by showing the push pin button (hidden by default) in the top right corner.
