WPF OLAP Pivot Grid Control

Get the facts straight with a Silverlight pivot grid that lets your users slice, dice and filter the multidimensional data of your OLAP cube, data warehouse, and Oracle® or Microsoft® SQL Server® Analysis Services, putting the full power of online analytical processing within your WPF applications. Our latest version of the xamPivotGrid improves performance and usability. Users simply drag and drop filter fields, measure fields, and dimensions from the convenient, collapsible field selector onto our OLAP pivot grid control, and xamPivotGrid presents the sliced and diced data in cross-tabulated form for your users to drill-down into.

Creating multidimensional analyses has never been easier.

In this release we've made performance enhancements to deliver support for higher volume data and query parsing:

  • Improved support for data with large number of members in hierarchy
  • Improved the MDSX query that are executed against the SQL Server Analysis Server
  • Tested against millions of records in SQL Server Analyses Server

Key Features at a Glance

  • IsBusy Property – This new property displays an indicator showing the grid is loading data or is performing an operation. The feature is consistent with Microsoft’s DomainDataSource IsBusy property.
  • Slicers - Our new Data Slicer lets you filter information quickly, in an interactive way. Why waste time figuring out what the data means and how it's shaped when you can simply pre-define the filter in a slicer, and provide your end users with a simple interaction/analysis model?
  • OLAP Data Source – Give end users a true drill-down experience by integrating our xamDataChart control with an OLAP data source.
  • WPF Business Intelligence – Our WPF OLAP Pivot Grid lets users work with multidimensional data (MDX) from your cubes, data warehouses from XMLA SAP and Oracle, or Microsoft® SQL Server® Analysis Services.
  • An OLAP Pivot Table for WPF – Our pivot grid control delivers an engaging user experience that allows your users drilldown and interact with data in "crosstabs" like Microsoft Excel but with the full power of online analytical processing (OLAP).
  • Multidimensional Data – Unlock the potential of your data warehouses, your OLAP cubes and your multidimensional data stores.
  • Drag and Drop – Users intuitively drag and drop fields from the field selector onto the WPF pivot grid control and rearrange the fields within row and column groups to see their data sliced and diced however they wish.
  • Filtering – Since the amount of data can quickly grow overwhelming, users can filter the data in the pivot grid so they see only the data pertinent to their analysis.
  • Drilldown – Expandable row and column fields in the pivot grid control allow your users to drilldown into the data to extract meaning from the numbers.
  • Summaries – Row and column groups are totaled by our pivot grid in summary fields, so your users can make quick part-to-whole comparisons.
