You can specify a padding percentage (from 0 to 40%) from either or both end points of the prescribed path.  Carousel objects will transition in and out of view at this distance from the start and end of the path.  Padding can be adjusted to condense or spread out the objects in front of the user.

An ItemsPerPage property allows you to modify how many items are visible along the prescribed path, which can affect how densely or loosely packed they appear.

Carousel objects can be treated as if they followed a closed circuit.  Users can continuously cycle through the same choices, without the notion of any particular choice being at the beginning or end of the list.
