TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) FAQ

Retrieval of your product (also referred to as your CD) key information can be easily accomplished through My Infragistics.

Select "View My" and then "Keys & Downloads" from the main menu, where you will be asked for your Member ID and password to log on.

You will now be able to see your CD Keys, and view the expiration date of your Infragistics products.  All registration information should be on this "My Keys & Downloads" screen for your easy reference.  If your key is unavailable, then please contact our Registrations Department at registrations@infragistics.com for further assistance.

TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) 2008 Vol. 1 contains HP QuickTest Professional software Custom Libraries for the Infragistics NetAdvantage for Windows Forms 2008 Vol. 1 controls.

Earlier versions of this product beginning with TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) 2004 Vol. 3 have been released to correspond with the exact volume releases of NetAdvantage for Windows Forms over that time period. This product can only be used to test the NetAdvantage for Windows Forms controls of its corresponding volume release (e.g., TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) 2006 Vol. 2 can be used to test NetAdvantage 2006 Vol. 2 applications, but would be unable to test NetAdvantage 2006 Vol. 1 or NetAdvantage 2006 Vol. 3 applications).

Subsequent releases of this product will follow Infragistics established subscription model, and will be synchronized with the volume releases of NetAdvantage for Windows Forms with which they are compatible. This product is only available on a subscription basis. Subscriptions are valid for one year.

The advantages of registering your product key (also sometimes referred to as a CD key) on the Infragistics Web site is mainly to offer you the ability to download the product, automatically receive product upgrades and new release information, and access developer support.

Reporting a problem to our Developer Support team requires a Member ID and registration of your key that will enable us to contact you easily. Please ensure you specify valid contact information (for example, do not alter your e-mail address in ways intended to misdirect "spam").

Should you lose your product key information; you can easily retrieve it using the My Infragistics area of our Web site (see the "View My" submenu).

In order to use TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software):

• The project being tested must be developed with the compatible volume release of NetAdvantage for Windows Forms.
• You will need to be a current owner of both HP QuickTest Professional and its .NET add-in extensibility.

This product presently supports HP QuickTest Professional 8.2 & 9.0. Please note that HP QuickTest Professional 8.2 and 9.0 and the .NET add-in extensibility are sold separately by Hewlett Packard® (HP), and are not supported or sold by Infragistics.

Unfortunately, at this time, TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) is available via electronic download only.

Yes. Free e-mail support through our developer support team is available to handle any questions you may have pertaining to this product during your trial period. To distinguish yourself as an evaluation customer, please bypass the request for a CD Key when submitting your inquiry.

For support with HP QuickTest Professional and .NET add-in support, you will need to contact HP/Mercury's customer support (see support.mercury.com).

The allotted usage time for the trial version of TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) is twenty (20) days. Unfortunately, we are presently unable to extend the trial period.

We recommend you use your trial version of this product on a project that has already been developed with the corresponding fully-licensed version of NetAdvantage.  However, it is possible to use the trial version of TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) on a test application developed using a trial version of NetAdvantage for Windows Forms, provided the trial version of NetAdvantage for Windows Forms being used corresponds with the trial version of TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) used.

A 14-day trial version of HP QuickTest Professional software can be obtained via the HP/Mercury Web site at www.mercury.com.

During your evaluation, if you need assistance with that HP QuickTest Professional software and its .NET add-in then please see the HP/Mercury Web site for current pre-sales support information or contact HP Sales at 800-837-8911 (U.S. only) and ask for assistance with your QuickTest Professional-related issue.

We generally do not have licenses available for use as a "site license" meaning a TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) license cannot be used for a floating number of machines. We do, however, offer an Enterprise Account licensing structure that can incorporate this product as part of your organization's licenses. If you already own a 25-seat NetAdvantage Enterprise License then you may purchase at least 5 TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) licenses to obtain the benefit of managing just one license for TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software), just as you do with your 1-seat for NetAdvantage.

The "Enterprise License" Program is a great way for companies that have a development team of at least 25 or more developers to handle issues such as minimizing training costs as well as ensuring consistency. Through streamlining license management for all developers in your company, the Enterprise program offers Subscription and Priority phone support for all developers. Companies may also take advantage of discounts on volume releases as well as service renewals.

Unlike the licensing structure of NetAdvantage, TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) is licensed on a per-machine basis only. For example, the number of testing machines you have using HP QuickTest Professional software is equivalent to the number of TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) licenses that you must have.

Absolutely! For instance, you can purchase 20 licenses of NetAdvantage and combine that with 5 licenses of TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) to create an enterprise account. As is the case with all of our enterprise accounts, you will be able to benefit from a 15% discount off of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).

While the credit card company shows an amount charged, your purchase did not occur. When verification fails during the purchase process, the purchase amount is not accepted. However, there can be a 1-3 business day lag between the time your Infragistics purchase was declined, and the time when the authorization on your credit card will be released in the full amount of the purchase.

TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $2995.00. It is licensed on a per computer basis and is available in packages of 5 or 10 seats and up. Subscription and Priority support includes all new products, updates and upgrades for one year plus Priority Phone and Rapid Response online support.

There are several methods of payment accepted at Infragistics:
