Structural Design
Why This Is Important
Well-structured software products allow users to quickly find the contents and functions they are looking for. A solid framework provides a "Home" for all data, controls and widgets that are needed to build the UI and thus the UX.
Our Offering
We translate use cases and functional models into a UX framework that hosts all required contents, features and functions. By categorizing and grouping information, data and functions we define an information architecture that reflects and supports the mental models that users have about their tasks.
In the next step, we develop a basic layout that maps to the information architecture.
In the third step we provide navigation paths between different parts of the system in order to optimize workflows.
Interaction Design
Why This Is Important
The way tasks and work flows are translated into concrete user-system-interactions determines how efficiently your product can be used – and how happy end-users are.
Our Offering
We specify what the system shows to the users, what inputs they can perform and how the system reacts to that input.
We design the controls and their behavior so that the users can smoothly achieve their goals without impairments. To achieve this we minimize mouse clicks and reading load and apply software ergonomics standards (e.g. ISO 9241) and best practices.
Based on validations with stakeholders and/or target users the design is iteratively refined and optimized.
Visual Design
Why This Is Important
Attractive products are more enjoyable and desirable which increases their value. Visual design communicates the quality of your system and the brand value of your organization.
Our Offering
Color schemes, icons, shapes, font types – no matter what design pieces we touch, we make sure that they fit into the overall design theme. We don't purely rely on our visual design expertise, we also test our designs with users, so that we iteratively close in on an optimum solution.
