User Experience Testing

Everyone values testing, but there are specific aspects of software testing that often get overlooked. We can help you fill those gaps with our extensive expertise in user experience testing.
We offer three services to evaluate and assess the UX of a product, prototype or concept:
Expert Reviews
Why This Is Important
Having outside experts evaluate your UX concept or existing product for compliance with user experience standards and best practices provides certainty about the status quo of the user experience and a direction on what needs to be changed.

Our Offering
We evaluate your UX concept or existing product for compliance with standards (e.g. ISO 9241), Human Factors and best practices (e.g. Nielsen's Heuristics). The goal is to identify weak spots that may impede the user experience. The identified problems are prioritized and concrete recommendations for mitigation are made.
Usability Testing
Why This Is Important
The ultimate test of your product is whether or not target users enjoy interacting with it. Usability testing provides an un-biased reality check: "Does it really work with users? What should we optimize?"

Our Offering
We test your prototype or product for proper user experience with potential users. We plan, organize and execute the usability test, including setting up test plans defining what workflows will be tested, what questions will be asked, what metrics are assessed and what questionnaires are to be used.
After the test we thoroughly analyze the data and prioritize the identified usability problems before we develop concrete recommendations to resolve them.
Competitive Analysis
Why This Is Important
We deliver insight into the competitive landscape. Triangulating your position relative to the best-in-class allows you to decide whether or not you should invest in UX and what you should do to get or stay at the top.

Our Offering
We evaluate the user experience of solutions in the market and identify their strengths and weaknesses. Then we repeat the same for your concept or existing product. To make the systems comparable we apply established evaluation criteria and assess user performance measures like click-counts and reading load.
Best-in-class solutions are then used as a baseline against which your product can be compared. We use this gap analysis to develop a user experience strategy that incorporates specific recommendations on the steps necessary to optimize the user experience of your system.
