Is the the XamDataGrid improvement the only new feature in WinClient 2009 Volume 1? If not, what are the other new features? When would this volume be ready for users?
Farewell to Tony! Thanks for the help that he has given me! However, the thick ASP.NET books seem to be on the left side in the Win side :)
Nice. Looking forward to it.
To set expectations, we are not delivering a bike for Christmas :-).
In all reality, I'm pretty sure it will be either fully released or released incrementally as a CTP so that it can get stress tested to see if it meets everyone's needs before the API's are locked down.
However, I'm still not telling what it is...
I couldn't possibly do the iPhone thing. Not b/c I have anything against Apple or the iPhone, but b/c I pretended to have something against the iPhone for long enough that it would admit defeat and I would face ridicule.
On a side note...I'll be in the UK in October; I'd love to see that app that your team has been working on.
Glad to see windows forms is not sitting in the dunce corner.
After almost 2 months any news about the new winforms Control?
I'll take a wild guess. Your big effort must be the OLAP data grid....?
Any idea if the UltraToolbarManager will implement the Office2010 functionality. Looks like the Orb is gone and in its place is a sort of toolbar-ribbon-group that acts like a task pane. I would be looking forward to that.
That would be VERY nice!
Ok, I am like you MS poster child and as such as soon as the Imagio hit the street I had one in my mail box, and since I was already approved mobile developer for marketplace I was like a kid on christmas day. The HTC Imagio was painfully slow "when it did work" and finally after 3 months the screen just died I was so upset about this and even know vz offered to replace it free of charge I opted for the MDroid which I must say is amazing, granted i will be tossing this once a stable wm7 gets released but in the meantime droid is fast and creating applications for it is pretty simplistic.
I wish MS had not pushed 6.5 out and just jumped to wm7 and the htc touchflow or softflow (whatever it is called) makes mobile that much worse!
This looks pretty cool, though it looks like an emulator rather than WinMo7 on a smartphone, would be great to see the app in action on the real thing!
<Carolyn> -- I tried to twist arms, offer candy, and even a free copy of NetAdvantage...but no one would let me muck with their WinMo7 Phone.
Actually, the only way to get an "app" onto a WinMo7 device is via the App Store, which is not available yet, so there would be no way to get one on their at the moment.
<Jason> But couldn't I switch the deploy target to Windows 7 Device. If you do that it asks for a Zune Install, so perhaps you're correct.
Is it just me, or are other people unable to view the presentation?
Looks like a bad link.
The link now works. Sorry about any trouble, and thanks for your patience.
It seem interesting! But it would be cooler if you make some videos with the updated version of the emulator.
We have a version that is built with NetAdvantage 2010 Volume 1, and now we want to upgrade it to 2010 Volume 2. It appears that we have to rebuild the Infragistics CAB kit from the source files. Do you have any recent articles on how to do this?
when i select singapore standard name in ultraTimeZoneEditor it gives Malay Peninsula Standard Time but it is not found in my local system how to solve this issue
Link for the article is broken? Does this exist anymore?? where can i find it?

That link is dead. Working link please?
