Aqua Lab #1 - Building the CRM Prototype

Jason Beres / Wednesday, May 20, 2009

We just posted the first of 3 hands on labs on the Healthcare CRM application I blogged about previously. You'll also notice we named the application Aqua.  Naming is always a tough process, but after about 30 or so options, we settled on Aqua, which ties in to the fluid user interface implemented in the application.

For this first hands on lab, you'll get exposure to the Aqua architecture, you'll be introduced to the various layers of the application, and you'll follow steps to get the basic bindings in the user interface completed.  The lab should take about 60 minutes to complete.

The next lab, scheduled for posting in the next couple of weeks, will focus on the Azure piece of Aqua, and how we plan in interacting with the cloud based data.

To discuss the lab and ask questions, I started a discussion thread on the CodePlex site.
