I'm looking for dropdown /typeahead input control to use in Angular 4 with typescript project. Can you please provide any sample code for this?
Eg: If I type 'a' in the state text box, Arizona should be in the dropdownlist.

I wanted to let you know that we plan to start implementation of a drop down based component part of Ignite UI for Angular framework, at the beginning of January.
Thanks Zdravko for the update. Does it mean that we can start using new control by Jan or what would be the plan for release date?
I cannot give you exact estimate when it would be ready, you can check our GitHub repo. We are constantly updating it with the latest changes.
