I'm currently using the jquery grid from 2011.2 (with sr version 3.11.2.2060)
I'm allowing advanced searches such as what you see in the sample:

The problem is that when they filter a column, the little filter icon never changes. Normally, you would expect the icon to be filled or have some visual indication that that column is being filtered. This would be a nice to have behaviour.
Is it already there and I missed a setting?

I took a look at the following images:
They appear to be so close that it's hard to tell the difference. I'll update the image and that should fix it.

No change. It appears the grid isn't using those gif's, but rather a PNG with just the one filter icon in it. Therefore, there isn't a difference at all between filtered and not filtered.

indeed the advanced filter icon in the column header doesn't change when there is a filter applied. The tooltip changes though (if you hover over the icon it will tell you what filters are applied).
You bring up a good UI improvement , though, and i will communicate this to our Product Management.
