Hi,
I'm attempting to show only the numbered totals on the summaries row. So "25" instead of "TOTAL = 25". I've set the RowDisplayLabel property to an empty string "", however, the "=" sign is still displayed. How can this be removed?
Thanks.
Hello Kathleen,
Thank you for posting in our community.
I have attached a sample presenting how the equity sign could be removed. In this approach I have identified the summary cell id and I have replaced the equity sign with an empty string:
function (){
var s = $("#grid1_summaries_footer_row_text_container_sum_Price").text().replace('=','');
$("#grid1_summaries_footer_row_text_container_sum_Price").text(s);
}
Please note that in your scenario the id associated with the summary cell which is required to be edited is most likely different than the id from the sample attached.
If you need any assistance to identify this id please send me your sample containing the grid. If any additional questions arise also feel free to contact me.
I and my colleagues have done further research and we found that the solution above works as expected when the “Updating” feature is not implemented in the grid. We suggest using the following solution which is compatible with the “Updating” feature:
features:
[
{
name: "Summaries",
resultTemplate:"TOTAL: "+"{1}",
…
]
Attached is a sample for your reference. Feel free to use it for your custom projects if needed.
