Upgrade legacy Infragistics based desktop application

I'd like to enrich a legacy application by providing ReportPlus tools.

At current time all the Views are mainly built on the top of UltraWinGrid.

The idea is to extend the Views by adding a tool to launch ReportPlus embedded control by passing the same data source used for grids.

What is the best way to provide at runtime the same data source used for grids to ReportPlus?
