In the user guide for Desktop, it mentions that "Share" option should be available on the action menu on a dashboard.
The only options I see are Add to Favourites / Tag / Rename / Remove.
Hi Fred,
What type of subscription do you have? If you have ReportPlus Server (Enterprise) subscription you won't be able to share dashboards. Sharing is available only with cloud subscription, then you will be able to share dashboards with other cloud subscribers. You can share a dashboard with enterprise license if you save it in under the "Enterprise" folder. This way it will be accessible by all users at your organization depending on their permissions.
Thanks,
Diyan
Just tried exporting an existing dashboard to file and re-upload to Enterprise version. It worked for once - I could see it on my iPad almost instantanously. Then I deleted that dashboard and re-created another one in Enterprise folder. Now it does not seem to sync anymore.
Hi Dylan
One more question - if I create a dashboard in iPad, do I need to create it under a specific folder. There is no pre-created "Enterprise" folder in the iPad app.
Thanks
Fred
In the iOS application the enterprise dashboards are located in the "Shared With Me" section.
Synchronization happens on some intervals. If you want immediately to see a dashboard on another device you could manually trigger the synchronization on both devices. In the desktop app you should press the refresh button above the dashboard browser. In the iOS app you should go to Settings -> Your Account -> Synchronization and press Synchronize now.
Please let me know if you still experience any issues with the synchronization of the enterprise dashboards.
Thanks for the reply. Synchronisation works when dashboard is created from iOS devices, but not from desktop version even if I place it in Enterprise folder. Dashboards created in desktop does not sync to web/iOS.
I have checked that the account information is the same as the iOS and is recognised as Enterprise licence.
