We have a VB6 app that uses SSDateCombo (18.104.22.168)
In windows 10 we've encountered an odd problem - when clicking on the spin arrows (to increase/decrease part of the date by 1) - it "goes crazy". It spins multiple times before stopping (not the same amount each time).
It's as if it doesn't register the mouse up event.
I was wondering if anyone encountered something like this before and has an idea how to fix this.
Also, is there a way to get the 1.10 version?
Calendar Widgets 1.0 was released in April of 2001 (according to the release notes) and were never tested on any current operating system. SSDateCombo is part of Calendar Widgets and I believe you may already be using version 1.0 of the product based on the version provided and the information on the version of the assemblies in the retired products pdf.
As far as using the controls on Windows 10, you can test if you get better behavior using compatibility mode.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
From the retired products PDF you linked to I see that the latest version of SSCalA32.ocx is 1.010.0004 and I have 1.0.07.0024 and it's from 1999.
Is there somewhere I can get the latest version?
I tried running the app using different compatibility modes, but nothing has changed.
If you have purchased Calendar Widgets 1.0 and registered your product key then you could download the newer version from the My Keys and Downloads page. If you need to register your key, you can do that on the product registration page. If you need to purchase a key, reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
