Can DataTemplate be applied to xamWebChart label as xamDataChart does?

Unfortunately no, you could hack the visual tree and apply a template, but this would not affect the spacing that the chart has calculated based on the labels original configuration. You are welcome to make a feature request for this functionality though.

Have you tried using the xamDataChart for this scenario, instead?

We have a scheduled app delivery in April. Could we have a chance to use the beta version of your next gen pie, stacked column, and stacked area xaml data charts?

BTW, it seems IG uttra chart has the ability to export the bitmap to excel spreadsheet. Is this feature listed for the future SL DV Excel Engine? It would be nice to show a chart in a column header or row header with the data exported to spreadsheet.
